How to Delete Your Data

Applies to: Mai (formerly Grace), Risora and Snap Translator (iOS, iPadOS and watchOS apps), and to our HopIn Publisher tool for Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Pinterest and YouTube.
Last updated: 10 October 2026

These apps are published by HOPIN.IT SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ (HopIn.IT sp. z o.o.), ul. Marsz. Józefa Piłsudskiego 74/320, 50-529 Wrocław, Poland, KRS 0001117479, NIP 8971940626, REGON 529197668.

None of our apps has a user account, and no user profile or content is kept on our servers. Your data is on your device; copies sit with a few third-party providers. The only server-side records on our shared AI server are short-lived counters, which expire on their own: anti-abuse limits tied to a hashed install ID and IP-based limits (up to 48 hours), monthly usage counters (up to 40 days), and, for Mai and Risora, the free AI usage counter (24 months). The in-app button does not remove these; they expire by themselves. You delete the first yourself, in the app, and you can ask us to request deletion of the second.

1. Delete your data in the app (fastest)

Each app has a Delete my data screen. It explains what is stored on your device, then one button wipes it:

The button deletes everything the app keeps on the device: favorites, history, your own texts, collections, images and settings, the app group shared with widgets, the Keychain items (such as the random feedback ID or Snap Translator's "My details"), and the widgets' and Apple Watch app's copies. In Risora it also deletes the iCloud key-value data. It resets the analytics ID, then returns the app to onboarding as if newly installed.

Before you tap it, note the Support ID shown on that screen (tap to copy). You need it in step 3 if you want third-party copies deleted too.

Deleting the app from your iPhone or iPad (touch and hold the icon, Remove App, Delete App) also removes the on-device data, and on Apple Watch delete it there too. Exception: Risora's iCloud key-value data stays in your iCloud, so use the in-app button for Risora first.

Deleting data does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple: cancel them in the Settings app, your name, Subscriptions. Apple keeps its own purchase records under Apple's privacy policy.

2. Data in your iCloud

If you use iCloud, some apps sync data (such as favorites or collections) through Apple's iCloud, which we cannot see or delete. Delete the items in the app while iCloud is on so the deletion syncs to your other devices (in Risora the Delete my data button does this), then delete the app on all your devices. To stop an app syncing, follow Apple's guide Change which apps sync and store data with iCloud; once an app is off, Apple says it no longer connects with iCloud and its data exists only on your device.

3. Copies held by third-party providers

Anonymous mode: nothing to delete

Each app has a "Share usage analytics" choice. If your device's region is set to a country in the European Economic Area (the 27 EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and you tap "Not now" or never answer, or if you turn the switch off in Settings, the app runs in anonymous mode:

The identifier changes at every launch and is not stored, so no one can link these events to you, and there is nothing to find or delete.

Asking us to request deletion

If you allowed analytics, bought a subscription or allowed tracking, providers hold records tied to random identifiers, not your name or email. Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data" and include:

We answer within one month (45 days for US requests); this can be extended for complex requests and we will tell you if so. We tell you what we requested and what was deleted. The providers below delete under their own policies and timing.

What is deleted at each provider

ProviderAppsWhat it holdsHow deletion is requested
AmplitudeMai, Risora, Snap TranslatorUsage events linked to your Support ID or device ID (full analytics only). We submit a deletion request for your ID through Amplitude's user-deletion tooling. Amplitude completes the deletion, including its backups, within 30 days of our request. Without a request, events are deleted automatically 24 months after they are received. Anonymous-mode events cannot be matched.
RevenueCatMai, Risora, Snap TranslatorSubscription records and, in Risora, an Apple Search Ads attribution token, linked to your Support ID.We delete the customer record in RevenueCat. Apple keeps its own purchase records. RevenueCat may keep some records as its policy requires (see https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy). RevenueCat states that deleting a customer clears all of their data (https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/dashboard-and-metrics/customer-history/manage-users). If you later restore purchases with the same Apple Account, a new record is created.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google)Mai, RisoraCrash reports from installations that allowed analytics. We request deletion by installation identifier where available; otherwise records expire after 90 days. Google removes deleted data from live and backup systems within 180 days.
SentrySnap TranslatorCrash reports, only if you allowed analytics. We delete the matching events. Otherwise they are deleted automatically within 30 days.
Meta and BranchRisora, Snap TranslatorInstall and app activity, only if you tapped Allow on Apple's tracking prompt. If you ask us, we pass your deletion request to Meta and Branch for data their SDKs received from our apps. They answer under their own policies. You can also manage Meta's data in your Facebook or Instagram settings ("Your activity off Meta technologies") and at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy. Branch handles the erasure requests we pass on through its data subject request process (https://help.branch.io/handling-data-subject-requests-from-end-users). Under its data retention policy (https://help.branch.io/docs/data-retention-policy), Branch keeps identifiable usage logs for no more than 60 days, deletes device-matching data after 30 days of inactivity (90 days for some attribution products) and deletes pseudonymized logs after 12 months.
Cloudflare, OpenRouter and the AI model hostsMai, Risora, Snap TranslatorAI requests pass through; we do not store them. Short-lived server logs may exist.Nothing for us to delete beyond log expiry: Cloudflare keeps request logs for up to 7 days. See each app's privacy policy for what is sent.
Google Cloud (Vision, Cloud Run)Snap TranslatorPhotos sent for text recognition and translation, which we do not keep.Nothing for us to delete: our services do not keep the photos or text, and Google Cloud keeps technical logs for these services for a limited period.
Our support inboxAllFeedback you send: message, rating, app version, device model, OS, locale and coarse country (Snap Translator also region, languages, time zone and a diagnostics log). It carries no account or device identifier.Feedback is delivered to our internal support channel. Because it has no identifier we cannot find it from your Support ID; tell us roughly when you sent it and what it said, and we will delete what we can match. Support emails are deleted on request. This is the only app-related data we hold ourselves.

Old analytics history from before this update may still hold mood values or AI safety categories; these are no longer sent, and deletion by Support ID covers them where they can be linked to you.

Deleting data does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple: cancel them in the Settings app, your name, Subscriptions.

4. Social media and HopIn Publisher

Meta's SDK in our apps

Risora and Snap Translator include Meta's SDK (Mai does not). It runs only if you allow tracking in Apple's prompt. If you do, it reports your install and app activity to Meta. Meta holds that data under its own policy (see the table above for how to ask).

HopIn Publisher

HopIn Publisher is an internal tool of HopIn.IT (Meta App ID 1392013026434534, plus the same tool's Pinterest and YouTube apps). We use it to post to our own Instagram, Threads, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and Bluesky accounts for Mai, Risora, Snap Translator and OnKey. Its login tokens stay on our own systems. It is not used by app users and you cannot sign in to it.

What it keeps about people who are not our users:

All of this is deleted automatically after 90 days. It does not read private messages or private accounts, and it does not sell data. Full details: HopIn Publisher Privacy Policy.

To have this data removed sooner: email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data (HopIn Publisher)" and a link to your comment, or its text and the post it was under (we store no usernames, so this is how we find it). We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email. You can also delete your comment on the platform yourself. Data stored by Meta, Pinterest or Google itself is deleted through their tools, not ours.
